I have a suggestion for something people can add to their letters to MLA’s and MP’s and such.

Here’s the website http://www.thenewblackcentre.com/ right on the page it shows a description of how the city denied and application for this after school music studio to be re-zoned.

P.S. The arts are a great way for people to express themselves. without the arts more kids would be involved in violence, drugs, and other crimes. Without them, who knows how bad things will go

What a stupid decision to reduce or elliminate funding for the fine arts. Here are some if not all the benefits of Musice and other fine arts instruction. It helps with concentration,coordination,relaxation,patience and self-confidence, and finally increased abstract reason skills and critical thinking, all skills necessary to develope a contributing member of society and with the growth in high tech industries our children can us all the help they can get. To close in 1997 A research team exploring the link between music and intelligence reported that music training is far superior to computer instruction in dramatically enhancing children’s abstract reasoning skills, the skills necessary for learning math and science. So politicians take you tunnel vision glasses off and look to the future, because our children are the future.
